CULLOWHEE — Several Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (TJCA) students competed in Western Carolina University’s annual Mathematics Contest last Friday with Camden Sloan posting a fantastic seventh-place finish.
Sloan’s seventh-place performance was in the comprehensive division with approximately 100 competitors. The comprehensive division featured test questions from all high school math subjects.
TJCA math and technology teacher Thomas Andrews was proud of Sloan and the other students who competed in the contest.
