Several Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (TJCA) students performed well at the recent 4H Junior Team State Competition held at NC State University.
In the Junior Horse Bowl, Emma Horton and Greg Tice helped Team A finish in first place. Natalie Aiello, Riley Soper, Demi Terry, and Aubriella Quiboloy helped Team B claim sixth place.
Horton took second place in the State Individual High Score Awards, while Tice finished in sixth place.
The Junior Hippology team finished first with Horton, Tice, and Soper helping lead the way.
Soper finished sixth overall in horse judging and Terry placed first in overall hippology.
